We believe in holding onto the rich heritage of every regional cuisine from each corner of India and bringing it to you in a way it is meant to be. Every meal from Zesty Kitchen is prepared using a magical blend of traditional spices, wholesome ingredients, fresh produce, and a whole bunch of love. Each recipe is put together by expert chefs of respective regions using methods and techniques unique to their cooking, and taking care of small nuances which

makes all the difference. For instance, the Malvani recipes are created by a chef from Malvan using spices and water sourced from his native village which yields the real taste. Or knowing that the Kori Gassi made by three communities in the Konkan region and each has a distinct flavor of its own. Or reviving iconic recipes from the past and rediscovering lost flavors, like Chicken Kibti- a rare dish from the palace kitchens of the Maharaja of Patiala.

Our Front-Runners

With a strong culinary passion and a desire to share it with the world, two friends came together to start Zesty Kitchen.Sambit Sathapathy and Aditya Singh have been friends for 15 years both studying and working together at ISB, McKinsey and Abbott. Besides having worked at leading organizations like ITC, McKinsey, Abbott, and Rivigo, Sambit has traveled the world and explored different cultural landscape through regional food. Be it the Patagonian roasted lamb at a ranch in Puerto Natales, Chile, the creamed dried cod in Venice, the exotic ostrich cutlets in South Africa, or the freshly caught prawns in a Kerala houseboat, Sambit has savored every flavor in their most original form. And thus he developed a deep love and respect for local, traditional cuisines- each unique for their own nuances. Aditya, on the other hand, has mastered the different flavors of India through his taste buds. Having lived across Delhi, Chandigarh,

Ranchi, Patna, Chhattisgarh, Kolkata, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, and Bangalore, he experienced the culture of each region through its culinary landscape. From finding the best Irani cafes in Mumbai and Pune to sourcing the authentic Chettinad meal in Chennai, he loves to explore and hunt down the classic and the best. And his love for food goes beyond the restaurants to his home kitchen where he occasionally recreates his favorite recipes. His management experience with companies like HUL, McKinsey, and Abbott, combined with his love for food, drove him towards this venture. With their love for food and a robust market knowledge, the duo set out on a mission to make available most authentic regional to all!
